Keith Cain

Sheriff Cain is a veteran of the USMC which included a tour of duty in the Republic of South Viet Nam. He has served continuously with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office since 1974. He was elected Sheriff in 1999 and is currently serving in his 5th term. Sheriff Cain holds a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) Degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College and a Master of Arts (Education) Degree from Western Kentucky University. He is a graduate of both the FBI-NA (156th) and the National Sheriff’s Institute. Sheriff Cain is a past president of the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association (2004) & (2008).

He serves on numerous community boards and committees.
